The Role
As an Audit Supervisor, you will provide support to Audit Operations Head in managing the day-to-day operations of the Internal Audit Division.
How you will contribute
Assists the Chief Audit Executive with budgeting and financial administration for the Internal Audit Division by attending meetings or consulting Department Head and the CAE on related matters to ensure that budget prepared adequately covers the internal audit activities.
Monitors the operating expenses of the Internal Audit Division based on the allotted budget to ensure that these are managed properly.
Assists the Department Heads in developing the Training Curriculum Plan by monitoring and providing updates on the trainings already attended by auditors to help ensure that these auditors are given the opportunity to enhance their knowledge, skills and other competencies.
Consolidates Division's annual audit plan (includes updating of standard turn-around time and risk assessment) by coordinating and meeting, if necessary, with the respective Department Heads to ensure that related documents are in order to facilitate CAE's review and approval.
Reviews the summary report on the status of corrective actions as of a particular period by discussing the content of the report with the assigned auditors and ensuring that these are adequately documented to ensure that the report provided to Audit Committee, external auditors, regulators and other interested parties are accurate and reliable.
What we're looking for
Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Banking, preferably CPA
At least 3 years working experience in accounting and auditing role, and banking
Must have advanced knowledge on internal auditing standards, including best internal audit practices
Should have working knowledge and experience with auditing tools and other software such TeamMate, MS Access, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint
Must seek new ways of working to improve efficiency and productivity
Must have communication, leadership, and time management skills with the ability to engage the whole team to meet timelines
Has proven ability in audit planning and execution, including risk assessment, process, and control evaluation
