AUDIT STAFF
Description: Ensure that all controls are implemented and that the audit team leader are provided with data and facts that are timely and relevant to the formulation of audit recommendations that will help the company efficiently achieve its business objectives.
Functional Duties and Responsibilities
Performs warehouse/store audit and store turnover (if there is any) of assigned warehouse/branches of Abigail Farm Supply, Inc.
Conducts Cash Count (Sales and Revolving Fund)
Conducts Physical Count of actual inventory in the stores
Reconciles System Recorded Inventories Vs. Concessio Recorded inventories
Declares cash and inventory variances
Check Accounts Receivable recorded in SAP and in Account envelope
Check status of facilities in the stores
Text blasts initial store audit result
Prepares initial compliance grid evaluation report
Other audit steps that may be given, indicated, or specified in the work instructions from immediate superior and/or President
Prepares monthly store audit schedule
Maintains custody of, updates and secures account envelope of Branch Account Executives.
Delivers and have transmittal slips of Outstanding Account and Authority to Deduct of BAEs properly received/ acknowledged.
Prepares the following report for analysis and interpretation of Audit Team Leader (Section Head):
Summary of Variances per SKU
Summary of monthly store audit highlight and high concerns
Observes proper communication and approval channels of the department.
Performs Cashier’s Audit
Conducts cash count (Remittances and Revolving Fund)
Reconcile cash/check remittances and deposits
Declares cash/checks variances if there is any
Conducts Checking of Postdated/Maturity Checks
Conducts checking of all Cash Advances and Liquidations
Other tasks, activities, or roles, analogous to the foregoing audit functional duties.
Basic Qualifications
With good analytical thinking skills and should be good eye for correctness and accuracy of details
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Keen attention to details
Results-oriented and with a diligent attitude towards the nitty gritty required to perform the auditing duties
Is organized and systematic
Dependable and can work independently especially when performing field assignments
Self-motivated and has good work discipline
Has high level integrity
Effective communicator
Flexible in performing field and office duties
Preferred Qualifications
A graduate of business course preferably Accounting or Accounting Technology
With at least one (1) year experience in Auditing or Accounting work and inventory management is an advantage
