Job Summary
The position is responsible for planning, executing, and completing audit fieldwork according to established schedules to determine the effectiveness of internal controls as well as the compliance of the business units to established processes, procedures, and guidelines. The position is likewise responsible for recommending improvements in internal controls to further strengthen the efficiency of operation.
Job Responsibilities
Adopt a risk-based approach in identifying and understanding key financial and operational risks;
Manages the internal audit fieldwork, performs walkthroughs, designs and carries out tests of controls;
Conducts the following audits among others:
physical inventory count in the different warehouses;
physical cash counts;
warehouse delivery reports vs. payments to trucking companies vs. billing to customers;
warehouse disbursement report vs. actual receipt
Manages internal investigations as an outcome of an audit finding;
Performs other tasks as directed from time to time.
Job Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Finance-Audit or Physical Inventory Audit or equivalent.
With knowledge in generally accepted auditing standards, accounting principles, internal control system, audit application and report writing
Can maintain composure under pressure and demonstrate versatility in dealing with people
With an eye for details, highly analytical, organized and proactive
Diplomatic but firm, with good leadership ability, able to relate well with all levels in the organization, emotionally mature and able to handle work under pressure
Demonstrated exemplary time management skills and effectively multi-task to deliver multiple projects to a high quality within time frame constraints
Willing to work from Mondays - Saturday
