Work you'll do As a Manager in the Accounting and Reporting Advisory Assurance, he/she will work closely with teams in rendering advisory services to insurance companies, which are in the process of adopting IFRS 17, Insurance Contracts. He/she shall be supervising several senior and staff in a wide array of accounting and reporting advisory services in addition to Insurance Accounting Assurance. These include, but are not limited to, Financial Instruments Assurance, GAAP conversion, and other complex accounting assurance services. Bachelor of Science in Accountancy Work Experience. Approximately 5+ years of audit experience within big four accounting firm or from an industry with vast experience of leading a large business unit with people responsibility of approx. 1000 professionals Certifications. Certified Public Accountant, CA or other equivalent certifications Competencies. Strong audit technical background supplemented with an understanding of the auditing business, geographies, and sectors. Exposure to Financial Services Industry (FIS) a plus. Strong knowledge of the Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and sector knowledge will be an added advantage US GAAP or IFRS knowledge 5 . Other Qualifications.
