Auditing Associate will provide support to the Auditing Department in conducting field audits in assigned branches to identify, gauge and closely examine the adequacy, efficiency and effectiveness of day-to-day internal controls in branch and warehouse operations. She will assist in protecting assets by planning and completing audit engagements, documenting the Company's processes, and collaborating with the auditing team to identify inadequate, inefficient, or ineffective internal controls; recommending improvements.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Conducts regular auditing of warehouse and retail stores.
Responsible for monitoring, validating and checking sales reports, void transactions, return & replace, discount purchases from stores and reconciles discrepancies.
Responsible for monitoring and auditing of physical inventories for accuracy and fraud detection.
Prepares reports and preserves documentation pertaining to audits for internal record.
Presents summarized findings concerning audit results and trends for internal groups.
Analyses audit results to determine methods for increasing profits and decreasing unnecessary costs.
Makes recommendations for the best ways for a company to avoid fraud and reduce waste.
Works with a team to achieve company goals.
