Reviews the Audit Program to ensure that audit objectives, scope, approach, extent of audit as well as schedules/working paper format are properly considered.
Plans and executes audit assignments in accordance with accepted professionals standards.
Ensures that each audit assignment adheres to the set timetable.
Coordinates with auditees regarding availability of records and documents needed for the audit. Ensures confidentiality of documents, records, and information made available in the course of the audit.
Coordinates meetings with concerned auditees to discuss the following:
Critical exceptions noted during the conduct of the audit
Explanation/causes for the exceptions noted
Recommended corrective actions to improve existing practice or to eliminate noted exceptions
Provide regular feedback to the Audit Supervisor/Audit Officer on status of audit, material findings discovered; seeks advice on further audit steps to be taken.
Prepares audit report; ensures that any non-compliance on approved policies and procedures is properly emphasized.
Performs follow-up reviews on previous audit jobs to ensure that actions/recommendations are taken to address the audit findings/noted exceptions.
Handles complex audit areas and other functions that may be assigned by the Audit Supervisor or Audit Officer.
Oversees the work of Junior Auditors whenever assigned to do so.
WHO YOU ARE
Qualifications
Graduate of BS Accountancy or BS Internal Auditing
At least 6 months of relevant work experience from Food Industry
Proficient in MS Excel
Has strong analytical skills
Good communication skills (oral/ written)
Willing to do field work, overnight duty, work on holidays (if needed)
Willing to work in a hybrid work set up (WFH and Work Onsite)
Preferably with own laptop for WFH set-up
