QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of MS Clinical Audiology
Preferably with two years of training or work experience
Must be knowledgeable in basic computer applications
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
Customer service-oriented
Willing to work for extended hours
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administers and interprets variety of tests to determine type and degree of hearing impairment, site of damage, and effects on comprehension and speech
Administers vestibular tests and site of lesion testing
Conducts counseling of patients
Gives necessary audiological recommendation
Makes audiological reports of patients as needed
Conducts case history taking of patients as needed
Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
OCCASIONAL DUTIES
Administers audiological and vestibular tests to group of individuals outside the Center as requested
Performs minor trouble shooting of equipment or refers to distributor any machine malfunctions
Participates in meetings, continuing education, training, staff development programs and research activities
