What the role entails
Lead and mentor a team consisting of audio producers, composers, and sound designers.
Serve as the liaison between the Audio Team and game development teams, facilitating communication regarding audio design.
Manage multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring the delivery of audio assets and implementation instructions.
Maintain design documentation and efficiently organize project assets.
Collaborate with game designers, artists, and mathematicians to enhance the User Experience through sound, music, and voiceovers.
Manage external composers and sound designers, overseeing the production, iteration, and timely delivery of required audio assets.
Communicate design direction and specifications to external partners.
Set and maintain delivery deadlines, coordinate stakeholder approvals, and manage asset deliveries.
Edit, process, and mix audio for games, prototypes, promotional materials, presentations, and other relevant projects.
Ensure the highest audio quality and consistency across all projects.
Contribute to the creation of best practice guides, tools documentation, presentations, and other relevant materials.
Works with Game Production to ensure ongoing communication with production on team's progress towards the roadmap.
Share insights and knowledge within the team to promote continuous improvement, communicating and leading change initiatives upon own initiative.
Provide guidance and supervision to ensure the team's performance aligns with our high standards.
Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the audio team whilst focusing the team on effectively executing and delivering the Audio strategy.
Ensure team members adhere to agreed-upon tools, policies, processes, and development guidelines. Updating and implementing new processes, policies or procedures as required to enhance the Audio Departments contribution to the business.
Ensure the team's compliance with processes and align their activities accordingly.
Regularly provide and receive open and constructive feedback on performance, behaviour, and skills.
Conduct all people management processes, accordance with the company's policies and processes, in cooperation with the Employee Experience Team, such as performance and development reviews, salary reviews, recruitment activities etc.
Enhance the team's competence and skills through training plans.
What we ask of you
Requirements:
At least 3 years' experience working in Slots/Casino-gaming audio design (wager-based or casual
At least 5 years' experience working in interactive audio design (music composition/sound FX/voiceover)
Experience with audio implementation for interactive media (games, etc.) -- middleware or other.
Experience with voiceover production and direction
Fluency in a wide variety of musical styles & production techniques
Expert knowledge of at least one DAW and audio editor
Able to easily manage multiple projects simultaneously.
