Responsible for finalizing user/business requirements, developing automation code and implementing RPA bots as per specifications, creating new RPA code and modifications to existing RPA code; troubleshooting and resolving issues with code; documenting changes; training users on changes as appropriate. Accountable for driving innovation and delivering continuous value from the use of automated processes and tools.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Effectively develops, deploys, and monitors RPA bots as per specifications
Helps to identify areas where RPA may be appropriately implemented
Works towards maximizing RPA capabilities.
Promotes and practices continuous innovation of automation toolset
Tests code that has been created or modified.
Documents changes to code
Effectively trains appropriate personnel on newly developed or modified code
Troubleshoots and debugs RPA bots and underlying code.
Consistently and effectively updates ALM tool (Jira) with appropriate comments to track progress of work
Performs Code Reviews for other team members.
Interviews customers or their representatives to understand customer needs and deliver products that meet those needs
Breaks down work into estimable pieces and delivers accurate and consistent difficulty estimates
Shares knowledge to other team members.
Understands and applies abstract concepts, recognizes subtle interrelations, handles complexity, and can respond to questions quickly (mental ability and perceptiveness)
Sets challenging but attainable goals and consistently attains those goals
Works as an effective team member and works to improve team morale
Listens to and understands client needs; recommends solutions and develops plans (problem analysis)
Understands IT's and RPA's role in helping Benco realize its mission
Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent education/experience
Experience: 3-5 years
Skills needed:
Ability to understand and analyze business processes, communicate clearly, persuasively, and effectively both verbally and written; good organizational skills; experience with application development, application configuration and implementation, business process optimization, or continuous improvement required; prior experience with business systems analysis and experience with process automation strongly preferred; experience with ERP and Distribution systems preferred but not required. Also, exhibits the following: Displays organization skills, displays time management skills, programming skills, program testing skills, adheres to departmental standards, displays project leadership skills, displays people leadership skills. Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills and listening skills
