SUMMARY OF ROLE
The position will support accounting of EPC and/or O&M revenue and COGS recognition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs project budget review and project schedule analysis for Holdco and POC projects
Provides guidance to Project Managers in analyzing the budget and work plan adjustments.
Participates with the project budget review meeting with the Directors assigned to the projects.
Ensures timely and accurate execution of SOX Controls.
Responsible on month-end close activities such as PA Program Run, PA Batch entries, manual journal entries, account reconciliations and cycle review materials
Performs review of accounting entries and in-depth analysis of the project's overall financials.
Provides documentation support for quarterly SOX and PBC requirements and other finance and audit duties as assigned.
Provides accounting support to business unit operations and stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation of standalone FS of some Holdco projects.
Assist the team lead in process improvement initiatives and assumes the lead role in his/her absence.
Ensures compliance on overall Projects Accounting processes.
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or any Finance related courses
Experience in various accounting areas like General Accounting., Asset Management & Financial Data Analysis
Preferably at least 2 years solid working experience in full accounting cycle.
Analytical and keen to details
Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Can work well at different levels of the organization. Works independently.
