Role Overview
The position exists to operate, monitor, and control production equipment and processes to ensure safe, and efficient operation and ensure quality of products.
Conducts immediate corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and carries out routine preventive maintenance procedures to ensure safe, quality, and efficient performance of assigned equipment and processes.
Routinely analyzes equipment and process performance and implements corrective/preventive action methodologies to achieve continuous improvement in performance.
Key Responsibilities
Operates, monitors and controls production equipment and processes to ensure safe, and efficient operation and ensure quality of products coming out from assigned area.
Conducts immediate corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and carries out routine preventive maintenance procedures to ensure safe, quality, and efficient performance of assigned equipment and processes.
Routinely analyzes equipment and process performance and implements corrective/preventive action methodologies to prevent recurrence of problems and achieve continuous improvement in performance.
Ensures compliance with quality and food safety standards and the execution of all applicable food safety and quality operational monitoring and control plans.
Implements safety operational controls applicable to activities performed during operation and maintenance e.g., but not limited to use of prescribed PPE, lock-out tag out, machine safeguarding and permitting systems for conducting hazardous works.
Qualifications
Graduate of Engineering courses; preferably licensed.
• With at least 1- year training or experience in manufacturing operations in an automated production setting; with hands on experience with maintaining equipment.
