International Data Corporation (IDC) seeks an experienced professional to join Asia/Pacific's leading technology research team as an Associate Production Coordinator based in our Manila office. Reporting directly to the Senior International Publishing Manager, in conjunction with regional interaction within our Asia/Pacific Publishing Services & Technologies Group (AP PS&T), the successful incumbent responsibilities will include:

Job Scope and Responsibilities:
The Associate Production Coordinator will focus on coordination, administration, publishing process training, maintenance of the team's existing databases and internal website, metrics generation, and document processing and formatting for countries in the Asia/Pacific region, where English is a second language in most of these countries. The role covers, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
Processing of incoming document submissions from Asia/Pacific to make sure they conform to IDC's research architecture, style, quality requirements, and publishing guidelines
Monitoring and managing the document workflow from submission to posting, making sure service-level agreements are met
Managing document distribution and archival (using IDC's content management system and productivity tools)
Mastering the research architecture and PS&T guidelines for all IDC documents and applying them especially during preliminary QC and pre-publishing stages
Communicating with the Asia/Pacific research community on publication guidelines, updates, submission schedules, processes, and requirements, and providing process training and consultation as needed
Assigning documents accordingly to editors taking into consideration the volume of the queue and current workload
Coordinating with Asia/Pacific analysts, WW and other regional PS&Ts, interns, and independent contractors on all editorial- and publication-related matters
Coordinating with other IDC departments such as research operations, product management, marketing, and sales for document-/publishing-related inquiries
Preparing regular metrics and status reports preferably with accurate analysis; maintaining an updated editing schedule; and doing publishing-related and team-related administrative tasks
Maintaining the AP PS&T internal website (SharePoint) and assisting with the creation and updating of PS&T's training modules
Formatting IDC documents as needed
Performing other PS&T-related tasks that may be assigned by the senior production coordinator and the international publishing manager
Qualifications
Entry-level is accepted, but experience (i.e., internship, etc.) in doing communications and/or administrative work is a plus
With excellent communication skills and strong written and verbal fluency in English; must be able to carry conversations with native speakers (having Mandarin skills is a plus)
Has minimum university or college degree
Computer literate with intermediate- to advanced-level knowledge of productivity tools, esp. MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficiency in numbers/computations is a plus
Copes well under pressure, particularly with deadlines and multiple competing demands
Has a strong sense of urgency; knows how to prioritize
Smart thinker with good analytics and foresight
Able to handle pressure situations and has a positive mindset toward achieving objectives of the team; can adapt to a multicultural environment
Gives attention to detail and has a strong self-motivated, independent work ethics; can work with minimum supervision but at the same time understands the value of teamwork
Has strong reading comprehension; can understand and carry out instructions effectively
Driven; goal-oriented; has above-average time-management skills; quality oriented
Knowledge of information technology and basic business dynamics is advantageous
Can work from 9am to 6pm, and willing to work in Bonifacio Global City (BGC)
