Our Fluor office in Manila, Philippines is looking for an enthusiastic team member with a can-do attitude that supplements our growing process team.
We are currently looking for new graduates to fill in the position of Associate Process Engineer I. This position provides process engineering work requiring application of standard engineering techniques and procedures.
Typical job duties and responsibilities are:
• Perform basic process engineering assignments
• Generate, calculate, and correlate data to assist higher level engineers in performing required engineering functions
• Assist with process studies
• Assist in the preparation of Mass Balances; produce PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams)
• Assist in the preparation of initial Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for simple process systems and/or utility systems
• Perform equipment sizing and calculations for simple equipment
• Input process data on instrument datasheets and line list
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
• BS or MS Degree in Chemical Engineering
• Active Chemical Engineering license in the Philippines
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with audiences that include management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Apply knowledge of applicable industry guidelines and regulations
• Advanced experience with Microsoft tools - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with an EPC company in a process engineering role
• Familiarity with process simulator tools such as Aspen, Hysys, Unisim
• Familiarity with a hydraulic sizing program such as AFT Fathom and AFT Arrow
• Active chemical engineering license in the Philippines
