Responsibilities
Windows server administration and support
Assist internal end users in resolving application incidents or server related incidents
Perform change management tasks. Review change tickets and coordinate testing for infrastructure related changes and participate in weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB) meeting
Generate weekly change report and review possible impact and outages to the servers and applications
Coordinate and manage projects (Business Unit, Cross Divisional and Vendor initiated). Project tasks may include chairing meetings, coordinating project requirements, scheduling changes, submitting service requests for project support
Perform configuration management database (CMDB) data quality analysis and cleanup
Perform security vulnerability analysis. Review vulnerability report, coordinate changes with the vendor or support team to address and resolve vulnerabilities
Perform daily health check of applications
Batch job coordination for month, quarter, and year end systems processing
Provide on-call support via phone/laptop during weekends and holidays (rotating schedule)
Other/s:
Must accept changes to the roles and responsibilities due to business need changes and requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology or equivalent
Can translate a more complex technical problem into business terms
Work well independently as well as in team environment as situation dictates
Solid communication skills and can effectively collaborate with co-workers and external teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Willing to work on a rotating night shift
Technical Skills
Knowledgeable in Windows servers (2012 and above)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
Basic Sharepoint knowledge
Advanced MS Excel skills such as the use of macros, pivot tables and graphing
Knowledgeable in system/application monitoring
Soft skills
Effective English verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines related to group and client needs
Effective presentation skills
Good collaboration skills
