Job Description
The Associate Nutritionist is responsible in providing formulation required by Toll Mill plant. Works directly with the Nutritionist in keeping formulations availability needed by customers and clients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Formulations & Nutrition
1. Responsible for feed formulations required by customers including commercial and customized formulations.
2. Provide Least cost formulations for customers
3. Provide formulation costings, material usages needed by accounting, purchasing & other departments.
4. Ensures the safety and confidentiality of all product formulation by implementing all risk management SOPs guidelines and work instructions applicable.
Product Development
1. Collaborate with Product Category for new product development.
Technical Support
1. Provide technical support to customers internally and externally as needed.
Other Tasks
1. Ensures the safety and confidentiality of all product formulation by implementing all risk management SOPs guidelines and work instructions applicable.
2. Performance ad hoc task as assigned by team leader.
Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Animal Management, Applied Animal Science or any related Science course.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
No experience is required but is an advantage
CRITICAL SKILLS OR COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Working knowledge of animal nutrition and animal physiology
Knowledge on animal diseases and symptoms.
Knowledge of production performance parameters
Appreciation on Feed sales and Marketing
Working knowledge on feed-mill operations and quality assurance.
familiarity with analyzing data and writing reports;
the capability to formulate and communicate ideas;
the capacity to form long-term relationships with customers and clients;
an appreciation of the interdisciplinary nature of science and the validity of others' viewpoints;
