The Position
Who we are
The Policy Operations team is charged with ensuring a quality and safe user experience with ads, protecting the company from legal and reputational risk, and removing roadblocks for genuine advertisers to transact freely on the platform. We do this by implementing scalable and effective policy enforcement solutions across revenue products.
As a Policy Operations Associate Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of individuals who make up the support layer of the team. You will ensure this group is providing outstanding service to internal and external customers, expertly triaging issues and partner concerns, and successfully operationalizing policy across the ads platform.
Job Description
What you'll do
Coach and inspire a team of individuals who are the face of Policy Operations' customer support
Establish and report on efficiency and quality metrics and ensure team is meeting targets
Set and track goals that align with broader team strategy and organizational impact
Drive global policy enforcement projects with measurable results, managing milestones and execution
Partner effectively with stakeholders from Sales to Trust & Safety, and represent your team as a functional expert on policy, product, and enforcement
Influence Product and Engineering on systems, tools, and logic that mitigate risk and improve customer experience
Build a high-performing and happy culture that empowers the team to do their best work
Communicate fearlessly to build trust!
Qualifications
Who you are
Multiple years of proven experience in operations, policy, or customer-facing roles
Exceptional leadership skills and ability to influence at senior levels
A natural mentor and someone who loves to see others succeed
Extremely detail-oriented with an ability and affinity for operational process design
Passionate about customer service and improving the way we operate
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Proactive in building relationships and pursuing opportunities
Highly analytical and capable of using data to make decisions
Not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done!
