Develop/Maintain electronic test forms
Complete development of advanced test forms, perform testing of all form functions and features using VBScript. Implement complex enhancements. Fix more profound scripting syntax and runtime errors for form related issues
Do SIT and verify functionality of forms in production.
Review and make recommendations in design requirements (Excel lay-out, penciled PDF). Utilize the ANSI/NETA Testing Standards to ensure all applicable form intelligence and test requirements are included on all ERS forms.
Assist in referring unhandled issues to PowerDB, Inc.
Synchronize data to master development/production databases. License PowerDb in existing VM's.
Download fresh database seeds/files in existing VM's. Verify data integrity.
Use e-mail with field technicians/engineers, office administrations, service center management to perform system testing and verification of data transfer
Communicate posted problems and recommended resolutions to Team Leader/POC.
Execute .BAT to update Production databases ZIP Files. Execute .BAT to Publish production databases. Operational Reporting tasks
Form Development Status reports: Document form modifications and revisions. Notification Report of new updates from the PowerDB website.
Create customized reports using SQL/T-SQL query tools and programming (from the Data Warehouse) and deploy reports to server
Assist in posting problem resolutions and user instructions to SharePoint and/or transmit via company e-mail distribution lists. Problem resolution may require support of Power DB vendor programmers
Assist in updating and interacting with PowerDB Sharepoint web site. Address issues/problems raised by users.
Assist in creating (and updating) an existing PowerDB Development Reference Manual
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT/IS or any related course
With 2 years minimum related experience in Visual Basic, MS Access and SQL Server Databases
Knowledge of complex Access database organization and usage. Experience with using T-SQL for complex data manipulation and reports creation
Knowledge of electrical field services in the commercial and industrial industry is a plus
Must have fundamental code troubleshooting skills
Excellent verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills
A self-starter and can work with minimal supervision
