The Graphic Designer is responsible in creating, developing, designing, and curating concepts and design solutions with high visual impact to interpret client needs and deliver business solutions.
As such, the Graphic Designer is required to have up-to-date knowledge and skills, and cooperate with cross-functional teams in accomplishing a wide variety of corporate and digital art projects.
Duties and responsibilities
Formulate concepts by studying information and materials, coordinating with germane entities and conferring with the team
Work from concept through to final production on projects within communicated or agreed timeframes
Produce web-ready and print-ready artwork, files and coding based on new and existing designs
Performing research and analysis related to design or aspects of design or related marketing
Create develop or adhere to corporate branding styles in producing packs, logos and brochures
Produce and update social media skins and templates
Do multiple layout designs for organisational branding and marketing such as, but not limited to email campaigns, letterhead documents, brochures
Produce new blueprint to update existing website interface designs
Create and follow through process of UI/UX development through design and code consistency
Analyze and understand user behavior and product core features to build functional and aesthetic app solutions
Ensure sophisticated design architecture in product development to organize data and content in webapps
Create manual and/or digital visualizations to convey accurate themes and undertones as dictated by project manager
Design materials for organisational and departmental activities, whenever necessary
Offer educated and logical opinion to improve concepts and projects
Perform ad-hoc responsibilities related to graphic designing
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in graphic design, visual communications or equivalent
Strong marketing acumen and core skill set in web design and front-end coding
Highly proficient, if not an expert, in Adobe Creative Suites, especially in Photoshop, Illustrator or its equivalent
Strong understanding of digital and print production
Demonstrable knowledge in photography, videography and digital illustration
Ability to visualize and design from concept to final artwork
Ability to work in tight deadlines and across multiple concurrent projects efficiently and independently
