Job Description:
This Sourcing Assistant/Procurement Operation Associate role will be supervised by a Category Sourcing Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support Procurement related projects and collaborate with Product leads to increase efficiencies in the process and to create a seamless end to end Procure to Pay process
Support tactical and strategic supplier engagements on behalf of stakeholders
Perform regular review of the standard operating procedures. This includes ensuring that processes and procedures are compliant with all applicable laws, regulations and regulatory guidelines in the APAC region.
Partner with internal stakeholders and customers to educate and to improve processes that will lead to an excellent customer service experience
Assist Stakeholders with any procurement related matters, working with our Customer Experience and Procurement hub teams
Liaise with Suppliers to obtain quotations or related matters
Ensure data accuracy and validity of Catalogue items
Liaise with various teams to resolve Purchase Orders/Payment issues
Work with the offshore Sourcing Team to ensure low value, low risk transactions are efficiently supported.
Carry out administrative responsibilities effectively in managing projects and contracting activities
Identify new service opportunities that address or anticipate client needs
Working with a Sourcing Manager or individually:
Identify qualified candidate suppliers capable of meeting JPMC requirements
Carry out all in depth supplier due diligence as required
Work with LOB clients and other stakeholders to define requirements for a sourcing transaction
Ensure all the selected suppliers are compliant with SLA's (Service Level Agreements) through collaboration with our internal partners and client teams
Work with the Legal team to implement robust supplier agreements using JPMC templates
Support any contract remediation/analysis projects if required.
Priorities:
Support the Procurement Operations function and stakeholders in the APAC region
Build effective and trusted relationships with internal clients and suppliers.
Build strong relationships with the global hub teams and support function such as Customer Experience.
Work cooperatively with other sourcing leads as a team member to meet common objectives.
Qualifications
At least 3 years' experience in a Procurement Operations or Sourcing Function
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Interpersonal: ability to lead and influence execute level stakeholders
Commercial skill/strategic negotiation ability
Basic understanding of commercial contract structure and terms
Communication Skills: ability to communicate effectively with internal sourcing and client stakeholders
Risk Management: knowledge of business risk factors and business savvy to minimize risk appropriately and communicate acceptance of risk factors when required.
Technology Acumen: advanced proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (especially advanced Excel) as well as Ariba analysis
Communication skills
Fluent English is required and confidence in communicating with stakeholders
Mandarin/Chinese language skills are beneficial but not mandatory
