As a Business and Ops Manager, you will be involve in driving location and global projects, which will give you exposure and the opportunity to network with colleagues from around the globe. You'll be tasked to explore and execute opportunity areas that aims to provide a seamless process for both our organization and our stakeholders. There is also an associated reporting requirements and thus, expect to prepare dashboards and reports for senior management. Responsibilities:
Help manage the day to day operations that includes accounts payable, fixed asset, card administration, tax reporting, records management, and accounting & reconciliation activities to ensure the accuracy of outputs and the timely completion of the team's deliverables
Act as one of the key contacts who will represent the team in administrative assistant and business meetings; a venue to introduce system, process and policy changes that have an impact to our internal customers and to hear and gather concerns relating to our our operations
Collaborate with key partners to introduce solutions that will strengthen business operating models, enhance the client experience, and improve efficiency and controls as it relates to the end to end Source to Pay process
Data analysis, including data collection, synthesis, and translation of results into concrete actionable solutions
Periodically update location senior management with regards to any changes in policy, procedures and other relevant information
Act as key contact for project roll outs; providing support on testing, and ensuring implementations meet local regulatory requirements, if any
Perform regular review of the standard operating procedures. This includes ensuring that processes and procedures are compliant with all applicable laws, regulations and regulatory guidelines
Prepare dashboard reports that will help the senior leadership team understand the key accomplishments, progress made on established goals, and opportunity areas that are present to the organization
Apply a critical eye in evaluating existing processes and frameworks; challenge the status quo and recommend solutions / enhancements to operating models and controls
Qualifications:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or College degree in Commerce/ Business Administration
Strong background in Accounting and Philippine Taxation. Certified Public Accountant is an advantage
A minimum 5 years of experience in Procure to Pay or Accounts Payable operations
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Knowledgeable in MS Office Applications, Ariba platform, and SAP Financial system
Knowledgeable in business intelligence platforms like Alteryx and Tableau
Deep experience in dashboard preparation and reporting to senior leadership team
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Ability to work in a continuously changing environment.
Client focused
Actively work with the team to resolve exceptions. Document exceptions and discuss new learning's with team.
