YOUR TASKS:
Summary
Provide computerised business applications (including mobile apps) with ongoing technical support and user training, problem escalation and sales process support to enable business objectives.
Accountabilities
(1) Business Entities: (A) Planning core application deployment for new proprietary software and versions with the GIS, Cyberjaya deployment and support teams; (B) Provision of cost justifiable solutions
(2) Provide technical support: (A) Resolving problems with GIS Provision of cost justifiable solutions
(3) Provide user training and on-going user support
(4) Provide pre and post sales support to Sales Department
(5) Participate in customer solution related discussions and provide technical inputs to meet customer needs
(6) Contract negotiation, problem escalation, etc
(7) Web development and macro programming - Java / Excel
(8) Handles customised mobile solutions development - Unity (if any)
(9) Database analysis and design
(10) Troubleshooting of local system bugs and fixes
(11) Manages existing system interfaces with 3rd party
(12) Handles local application EOSL/RTP/System Upgrades activities
(13) Report generation and data file processing
(14) Handles local systems configurations and administration
(15) Perform daily monitoring 1st level trouble shooting for any integration/data issues
Now, here's what we need from you:
Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy. Analyzes and resolves complex cross-functional issues.
Well-developed relationship skills and ability to network with multiple levels of an organization and other business units.
3-5 years IT experience, preferably in logistics industry
3-5 years experience in software development
3 years experience in business or systems analysis responsibilities
Strong programming background in web development preferably Java, ASP or PHP languages including database analysis and design
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Windows Server & SQL Server, certification is an advantage
Knowledgeable in desktop (i.e., OS & hardware) support
