Job Description
The Associate Project Automation Specialist II provides local project support for Fluor project automation technology used.
These technical specialists provide end user project support, project configuration, or special project modifications required for a limited number of systems.
Hexagon S3D (SPPID, SPI, SPEL skills are advantages)
AVEVA PDMS / E3D (Knowledge in AVEVA Engineering & AVEVA net are advantages)
AutoDesk Plant 3D
Provide technical configuration and office support for Fluor engineering software systems conjunction with the office Automation Manager
Employ effective knowledge sharing behaviors in the use of Fluor's knowledge management portals and communities
Work with the Project Information Manager (PIM) to analyze any technical implementation or configuration issues for Fluor's engineering software systems
Collaborate with a more senior Project Automation Specialist (PAS) to analyze and evaluate the Fluor's engineering software systems support and implementation requirements
Provide basic end user office support, project setup and configuration, or special project modifications required for Fluor's engineering software systems under the direction of a senior Project Automation Specialist (PAS)
Assist Information Technology (IT) in evaluating technology impact to Fluor infrastructure and systems
Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Perform specializations which may be limited to a single system or at most two
Preferred Qualifications
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering or computer science is preferred or equivalent technical
experience
Two (2) years of experience in project, Information Technology or Automation
Intermediate administration/ user skill in one (1) or more of the following Computer Integrated Engineering/ Computer Aided Design tools:
Hexagon SmartPlant Enterprise - S3D (SPPID, SPI, SPEL skills are advantages)
AVEVA PDMS / E3D (Catalog customization and AVEVA Engineering skills are advantages)
AutoDesk Plant 3D
Bentley Microstation
AutoDesk AutoCad
Basic knowledge of Information Technology in:
Desktop/laptop environment and general office tools
Infrastructure (Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), telecommunications, etc.)
Electronic security and governance
Electronic communications
