Description
Assistant Treasurer
Responsibilities:
• Assists the corporate treasurer in the direction and management of an organization's treasury activities.
• Oversees treasury activities and guarantees the financial transactions, policies, procedures that fulfill the organization's goals and requirements, as well as regulatory body requirements.
• May monitor results of pension investment and other investment activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Reports to Treasurer.
• Manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
• Gives input into developing the budget.
• Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
Qualifications:
• Have at least 2 years of experience as Assistant Treasurer.
• Should have either a degree in accountancy, finance, economics, banking or business studies, or any other related degree.
