As one of Australia's fastest growing e-Commerce company, we are seeking an experienced and results oriented Assistant System Administrator, you will be responsible for the IT requirements of various teams such as the Customer Service and Marketing teams, who operate both onsite and remotely.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems.
Creating user accounts and performing access control.
Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
Install software, maintain, and introduce training as needed.
Maintain and secure passwords, file system security and data integrity for desktop environment
Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
Maintain all local software and hardware licensing to ensure conformance
Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
Manage entire purchase of inventory related to hardware, software and other IT supplies
Develop and maintain vendor relations
Support in workflow evaluation and improvement.
Requirements
Vast experience in diagnosing, managing and maintenance of both software and hardware computer systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent in communication both verbal and written along with strong interpersonal skill and the ability to work effectively in a diverse community
Ability to collaboratively engage staff including a remote team, friendly, positive and patient in dealing with customers and internal teams
Enthusiastic, reliable, hard-working and dedicated to improving computer systems
Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment, taking responsibility for work outcomes
Advanced knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications
Ability to provide advanced technical assistance and comprehensive problem resolution to end users.
