Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
The Assistant Sales Manager will work together with the Managing Director as per country strategy to achieve the strategic figures in the planned budget/ RFC as well as in the midterm plan of Strategy 2022
Duties & Responsibilities:
. To identify and explore potential business within Philippines from customers in the WWW related to project sales and achieve set target by the company
. To handle key account customers such as Manila Water, Maynilad water, related EPC contractors etc. and strengthen the business relationships.
. WWW Business strategy to be monitored every month with clear measure and action plan for projects follow-up action.
. Conduct product presentation / training to clients as and when require.
. Responsible for internal staff training on product knowledge / application for pumps as and when necessary.
. To liaise with P & A and manufacturing units within the group to improve communication and obtain full support in working out offers/ quotations with the best possible dates for all project tenders.
. To provide updated project forecast lists during the management meeting or as and when require.
. Also responsible for sales marketing for industries under his care.
. To be in the market and that's nearer to the end-users or EPC contractors so as to understand our pricing and delivery competitiveness so that the company can be successful in all projects participation.
Skills & Qualifications:
. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
. At least 3 years in Pumps & Valves Industry (Such as Sulzer, Flowserve, Grundfos, Ebra, Willow)
Special Skills:
. Communication and presentation skills
. Written and spoken English
. Develop good rapport with the client's Companies, Customers, Consultants
. Good Computer Skills
. Good Understanding of Commercial Issues.
Defined Competencies:
. Negotiation skills with Customer
. Ability to motivate & cooperate subordinates with support with their work related issues.
. Need to be team payer.
Advantageous / Nice-to-have:
. Minimum 3-5 years exposure in relevant industry
. Supplier & Good Product and Application Knowledge will be added advantage
