JOB DESCRIPTION
To assist Project Heads in handling specific assigned Project from pre-construction, construction and post-construction & Turnover stages and ensure that the Project is within the approved budget, delivered on time and completed with the highest possible quality standards and ensuring proper customer servicing to internal units of SMDC.
Assists Project Heads in the submission of Weekly, Monthly Reports including periodic percent of Completion (POC) Certification required for Accounting Reports.
Assists Project Heads in the preparation of long and short list of Bidders / Suppliers to Bids & Awards Committee.
Assists Project Heads on the conduct of Pre-bid Meetings, Clarification Meetings, and Bids Submissions & Openings including recommendation of award of assigned Project's Work Packages.
Participates in the review of Plans, Design and Specifications, from Design Development (DD) up to For Construction Drawings (FCD)
Assists Project Heads the preparation of Contract Agreements and required Annexes or Attachments, Letter of Awards (LOA), Notice to Proceed (NTP) applicable for assigned Project.
Assists Project Heads in the preparation and approval of Project Authorization Orders (PAO), Billing / Payment Certificates, Request for Check Payments (RCP), Work Authorization Orders (WAO)) and Change Order Requests.
Assists Project Heads on the inspection of quality workmanship on the completed works of his/her assigned Project and on the supervision of making good defects prior to turn-over and acceptable.
Responsible for the preparation of billings and SAP (billing procedure), recommends payment to sub-con etc.
Responsible for the preparation of SAP-PR (procurement process) and proper documentation of it
Responsible for the implementation of the Systems & Procedures of the Planning & Engineering Division- Construction Management Department
Responsible for implementation of Punch List (within Construction Warranty and Timely Turnover of Units to Quality Assurance Department [ or to Property Management for the Turnover of Amenities, Common Areas & Commercial Areas ]
Directs the 3d Party CM & Monitors Project Actual Accomplishment versus Planned Values and reports to Project Heads Regularly.
Strict responsible for the implementation of SMDC's business policy guidance.
Performs other duties that may assigned from time to time by their Department and Project Heads.
REQUIREMENT
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree of Criminology and/or , Protective Services & Management or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Security/Armed Forces/Protective Services or equivalent
At least 1-2 year(s) supervisory experience in the related field is required for this position
WORK LOCATION
Applicant must be willing to work in SM Center Pasig.
