Overview of the Role
This role shall be responsible for undertaking vendor management activities, vendor compliance and assist with vendor sourcing for IFM account based in Philippines to support and execute strategic outsourcing, cost savings and, vendor management programs to support JLL's SCMP commitments.
This role will be part of both local and regional leadership team and will manage complex initiatives and integrated outsourcing programs. Responsibility also extends to procurement governance, communication and training for responsible programs, and to support contract / procurement strategies to achieve long term client benefits.
This role also requires experience in facilities management and or vendor management in Philippines to support the portfolio of facilities. This includes engagement with the supply chain and with country teams to monitor and manage vendor performance and to promote savings initiatives.
The position calls for a methodical undertaking of the policing of the vendor compliance responsibilities, timely and accurate.
The position requires continuous development of the vendor management strategy, including regular market testing through RFP execution management.
What this job involves:
Lead in strategic procurement management
You drive supply chain optimization by conducting regular and proactive review of vendors though various methodologies, scoring templates, continuous improvement discussion, developing vendor metrics, gap analysis, site visits and floor walk. You do this while ensuring all vendor contracts are current and aligned. This also includes system training, vendor performance management, and providing regular reporting to client account teams. You'll also ensure JLL Vendor Ethics trainings are implemented and reported.
Keeping an eye on sourcing activities
Easing the path for the country team's procurement activities will be your main concern. You'll assist in drafting requirements for bidding and conduct various sourcing references―including requests for information, proposals and quotations. You'll also draw up contracts and find opportunities to drive costs down. You'll also be expected to always be ready in the face of any pricing issues that may arise. On top of these, you'll lend support to our solutions department team, so part of your strategic plan should be to get the best pricing that's in line with their tenders.
Are you adept in monitoring and generating reports? In this role, you'll handle the development, implementation and maintenance of purchase orders and benchmark reports. You'll also carry out scheduled audits to ensure that both contract and insurance requirements are met. To excel in this role, you'll also take part in growing the business by actively participating in tender/pricing activities.

You should have an eye for vendors who can deliver on time and live up to our quality standards―at the right price. A strong relationship based on trust pays off with great dividends, that's why building lasting relationships with the right vendors and suppliers should be second nature to you. You'll also spend a lot of time keeping track of their performance to make sure that we partner with only the best ones.
Also part of your mandate is to support our supply chain management team by developing and looking after vendor management programmes, ensuring seamless negotiation processes and promoting effective project coordination. You'll also see to it that transition and information updates are well in place.
You'll also lead in developing and communicating the IFM and Supply chain management program's vision to the client, JLL colleagues, vendors and Strategic Alliance Partners. You also play a vital role in coming up with strategies for negotiation of major programs, projects and/or vendor activities as well as coordinate Long Term adhoc requests to vendors with required details.
Promote profitability & savings initiatives
You will lead the team in developing initiatives and strategies that lead to cost savings and service improvement relevant to procurement acting as a champion and point person for Value Engineering savings initiatives
Reporting
You'll be the primary responsible in for monthly procurement reports preparation & collation for Client acceptance as well as reports in the vendor spend review, monitoring and management and ensure compliance with Quarterly Vendor Performance review

A well-experienced procurement leader
Do you have at least 7 years professional procurement leadership and supply chain management experience preferably from a multinational company or BPO? Have you done development of vendor management strategies, identifying and securing resources based on client requirements/results? Have you done direct stakeholder collaboration and planning activities relevant to supply chain and procurement? Are you knowledgeable in e-sourcing / e-procurement platform and Supplier Performance Management ? Do you possess effective and clear skills in coordinating needs to both internal and external clients, vendors and stake holder? Do you love supporting management & colleagues in accomplishing their goals?
It's also vital that you must exhibit exceptional skills and knowledge in conducting end-to-end supplier management from pre-qualification, sourcing, negotiation, contract execution, transition, payment and performance management. A practical knowledge of facilities management, maintenance operations and engineering and risk management with ability to adjust approach depending on situation and demands will also be needed to be successful in this role.
