QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma
with NCII Certification (Preferably)
Proven experience as Mechanic
Valid Driver's License
Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components
Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc.
A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
Very good communication skills
A problem-solving ability
Very good physical strength and stamina
Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users
Undertake other duties as assigned
Willing to stay-in at Ugong, Valenzuela City
Willing to render Overtime if necessary
Can Start as soon as possible.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assists mechanics to: detect and diagnose faults in engines and parts.
Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including preventative maintenance, inspections, repair to air and hydraulic brakes, tires, warranty procedures, driveline, steering and suspension, electrical, mobile AC refrigeration, and overhaul and engine rebuilds, with safety as the top priority.
Identify, diagnosis, and resolve tractor and trailer related issues.
Diagnose and repair trailer components such as doors, floors and side panels and etc.
Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on tractor and trailer equipment including routine technical repairs, completing repair orders, oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
Remain technically proficient in all areas of the shop including tractor, trailer, tire, and basic parts administration.
To perform rescue operation anywhere and anytime when needed.
Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and check parts.
Repair and replace worn and defective parts and reassemble mechanical components, and refer to service manuals as needed.
Reassemble engines and parts after being repaired.
Test and adjust mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance, diagnose and test parts with the assistance of computers.
Performs related job duties as required.
