The Assistant GM (AGM) is a strategic partner to the General Manager and has a significant responsibility in shaping the future state of the Philippines shared service organization. The AGM plays a significant role in appraising and making recommendations regarding operating results in terms of costs, budgets, operations, trends, and increased profit opportunities across both operational and support functions. The AGM serves as leader of the organization which includes a high level of focus on nurturing the Insight culture and driving teammate satisfaction and acts in the GM's absence where authority has been appropriately delegated. The AGM coordinates, administers, and controls Support Operations, which include, but are not limited to Training and Quality, Efficiency and Continuous Improvement, Transitions and Workforce, as well as with Insight's Policies and Procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Identify and drive strategic objectives, optimization and maturity initiatives; position the organization to support business expansion
-Facilitate planning and processes for executing business strategy
-Partner with Manila GM, Global Leadership and local Core Leaders to shape the Geo vision and develop execution plans
-Develop processes and plans for the creation of support departments Training and Quality, Continuous Improvement, Transitions and Workforce
-Influence and facilitate culture adoption and improve messaging consistency
-Ensure that Geo processes and activities are compliant and consistent with all internal controls and procedures.
-Facilitate monthly review of Geo specific performance measures
-Fill in as "Acting Country Leader" as needed
