Job Description
The Assistant Finance Manager (AFM) is primarily responsible for assisting the finance head in managing, processing and calibrating various accounts and transactions. S/he is responsible for:
- Assist in Planning and directing the activities of finance and accounting
- In charge in oversight of reports as required by law, regulations or company
policies
- Assist in the oversight of the day-to-day financial operations within the
company, such as invoicing, billing, collections and other transactions
- Coordinates with outside services for auditing, banking and other financial
needs, as necessary
- Provide insightful information and expectations to executives to aid in long-term
and short-term decision making
- Prepares financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
- Ensures that the company understands and adheres to financial regulations
and legislation
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other relevant field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing
2 years managerial / supervisory experiences
Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office particularly excel and databases
Able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
Government compliance expertise is a plus
Strong analytical and planning skills;
Good communication skills;
Excellent problem-solving skills;
