Main Job Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to provide valuable support to the senior finance business partner in providing financial and strategic guidance to category business leaders.
The role will partner the Ice Cream category of Unilever Philippines, which is a joint venture with a local company and a separate company from the HPCFR business. As such, scope of the business partner is end to end and holistic learning of the business is expected.
Key Accountabilities:
Drive Financial Performance of the Category
Accountable for the P&L Numbers, Movements and Gaps to Targets
Provides support in financial simulations like Pricing, Sourcing, Savings, Promo Investment, Innovations
Deep-dive Risks and Opportunities in Growth and Costs
Ensure accuracy of Financial Reports and Drive controls
Provide Decision Support and Timely Analysis on High-Value Business Priorities.
New Business Models
Annual and Long Term Business Planning
Major Investment and Business Decisions (including decisions related to Capacity, Make vs Buy, Network studies)
Competitive Analysis
Support Senior Finance Business Partner on driving business performance interventions:
Growth Spotting
Profitability Improvement and Fuel for Growth
Promotions and Pricing Opportunities
Net Revenue Management
Prepare Financial presentations and submissions for Global Teams
Monthly Forecast Submissions
Category Strategy Updates
Build deep understanding, Brands, Channels, and Supply Chain Network
Experience Required:
ESSENTIAL
- At least 2 years of experience in Finance
- In depth knowledge of Management Accounting, Reporting, and Budgeting.
- Experience in one of business partnering roles: CD, Marketing, SC, etc.
- Commercial support and decision support (including preparing financial models and ROI analysis)
- Experience in investment evaluation, analysis and tracking KPIs.
- Strong analytical capabilities with bias to drive action.
- Good understanding on finance process and operations.
- Advanced skills in Excel, and in depth knowledge of SAP and BW.
- Excellent engagement, presentation and communication skills
PREFERRED
- Experience in Brand finance, Sales finance, SC finance, or R2R.
- Quick learner, with confidence to work independently
- Team player with excellent organizational skill
