Structural aspects of the hotel as well as the maintenance of grounds and external facilities fall within the span of responsibility of the Assistant Chief Engineer.Assist with monthly or periodic inspections of building systems HVAC, electrical distribution, structural, vertical transportation, roofs, parapets, gutters and leaders, parking area, drainage, ramps, and approaches, irrigation and Fire/life Safety, Water treatment, UPS and PDU systems, EPG operation, BMS, HVAC controls and Plumbing SystemsAssist the Chief Engineer, Property or Facilities Manager in handling requests for service calls, evaluating requests, and dispatching appropriate staff and contractorsMay be responsible for determining the security requirements necessary to ensure that hotel property, employees, guests and patrons are protected against theft, crime and other hazards, and/ or manage the relationship with a third-party security firm contracted for such purposes.Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel.
