Job Descriptions
Merchandise Assortment
Provides adequate analysis and feedback on outright and concessionaire merchandise sales performance per store to assist and recommend to Buyers the right assortment, price and quantity per location.
Analyzes stock levels and order points.
Sources and develops new local and international suppliers (outright and concessionaire) to ensure category merchandise assortment is updated with local and international trends.
Inventory Management
Monitors the movement of the merchandise.
Monitors stock levels per store and recommends items for replenishment as well as supervises the disposal of ageing items and damaged merchandise.
Merchandise Evaluation
Evaluates new items/new suppliers for approval of Merchandising.
Negotiates for better terms and discounts from suppliers.
Operations
Coordinates with store operations regarding product display, promotions, special deals to ensure that all merchandising plans are properly implemented.
Conducts store visits and coordinates with stores on key item sales and merchandise placement ensuring the implementation of merchandising directives, display strategies and standards in all stores.
Consider which goods will sell well in particular locations, and at what customer are willing to pay.
Job Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
Fresh graduates with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Merchandising or equivalent.
