ASSISTANT ACCOUNTING HEAD

Job Summary:
 
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accounting Head to support the Accounting Head in managing the company's financial operations. This role is ideal for candidates with 1-2 years of experience who are eager to grow and willing to be trained.
 
Responsibilities include handling accounts receivable, government compliance, bank documentation and transfers, and bank reconciliations, all under the guidance of the Accounting Head.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Accounting Head in overseeing day-to-day accounting functions
Manage and monitor accounts receivable, including billing, collections, and account reconciliation
Handle bank transactions, including preparation of check vouchers, online transfers, and coordination with banks for account openings and document submissions
Prepare and perform monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies
Process and file government requirements, including BIR filings, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other compliance reports
Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records and support audit processes
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
Support in improving and documenting internal accounting procedures
Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by the Accounting Head
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, or a related field
1-2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance
Experience in bank transactions and reconciliations is an advantage
Familiarity with Philippine tax compliance and statutory reporting
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Willing to be trained and take on new responsibilities
CPA is a plus but not required
