Job Profile
To provide assistance to all Insurance Broking staff (as required):
Processing of new business, endorsement, cancellations and renewals on the company insurance systems (Winbeat and Sunrise)
Preparation of client documents (quote slips/placing slips/new business and renewal schedules)
Obtaining quotations from underwriters, online and via email/phone/fax
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Business Servicing and Quality
Respond to enquiries and requests for action from Account Executives, Senior Account Executives, Divisional Managers, Executive General Manager and Managing Director
Processing of new business, renewals and policy maintenance to ensure provision of excellent service to clients and the highest quality input to insurers. This includes:
Providing and following up on quotations
Processing all new business
Processing of endorsements/amendments
Quoting of renewals
Preparing correspondence between the company, clients and underwriters for approval by Associate Director
Attending to front counter payments and enquiries where required
Assisting other representatives as and when required for general queries
Answering the phone when required
Work with the Claims Team to ensure prompt and efficient claims settlement
Compliance
Maintain current knowledge of company policies and principles and ensure consistency with company compliance disclosure obligations on all policies.
Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with relevant statutory, industry requirements and codes as well as company policies and procedures.
Compile at least 24 CPD Points per year
Training and Development
Undertake Professional Development activities as outlined in training plan
Teamwork
Work effectively with team/work group or those outside the formal line of authority (e.g. peers, senior managers) to accomplish organizational goals
Keep management and others informed appropriately and as required about work status
Take actions that respect the needs and contributions of others

Qualifications/Experience
Minimum requirements:
· 12 months experience within the Financial Services Industry or equivalent office experience within 12 months
