Job Description:
As Client Service Associate I, you will be part of the Issue Resolution Team under Insurance and Retirement Services. You will address and resolve intricate queries and challenges associated with annuities, 529 plans, retirement accounts, and other related services. Your strong background in financial services, outstanding problem-solving skills and commitment to delivering superior customer service will be pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the integrity of the service offerings.
Job Responsibilities:
Escalation Management: Efficiently handle escalation tickets related to Annuities, 529 Plans, and Retirement Services, ensuring complete and timely resolutions.
Advisor Interaction: Work closely with financial advisors to understand and address the intricacies of escalated issues, maintaining high levels of professionalism and effective communication.
Analytical Problem-Solving: Conduct detailed analysis to understand the root causes of issues. Develop strategic solutions that align with both client needs and company policies.
Collaboration with Operations: Partner with the operations team to ensure all aspects of client service and resolution are managed effectively.
Insurance carriers communication: Act as the primary contact for external vendors associated with Insurance and Retirement Services, ensuring effective collaboration and compliance with agreements.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing processes and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.
Compliance and Risk Management: Adhere to regulatory guidelines and proactively manage potential risks.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial services, focusing on insurance and retirement products.
Comprehensive knowledge of Annuities, 529 Plans, and Retirement Services.
Intermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes
Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail oriented, and strong interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to deal with different stakeholder groups to elicit business requirements, procedures, and processes
Ability to work in a high-paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize, and prioritize work
Be a team player who shows commitment and dedication while maintaining a positive attitude and high level of performance on high profile/time-sensitive initiatives
