Job Description
Asset Management Data and information management applications development
Program tools to optimize integration and interface of asset information system to IT/OT (information technology and operations technology) systems such as SAP, BI, CRM and SCADA telemetry sensors systems.
Design, code and maintain asset information systems for custom applications
Develop and deliver GIS and asset information, products, data and services thru web mapping solutions and mobile applications
Performing spatial analysis for special projects and in performing QA/QC activities
Assists in quality assurance checks of asset information systems and recommends updates or new techniques when applicable.
Ensures as-built plans and relevant projects and asset documents are secured and accessible.
Spatial analysis
Manipulates, extracts, locates and analyzes geographic data for modelling, analysis, data integration and conversion, geocoding and geoprocessing.
Performs complex data analysis using ArcGIS and related extensions/add-ons, relational databases, and other computer software; understands and can apply the capabilities of GIS, databases, and other computer programs to solve complex spatial and relational problems
Enterprise application development
Works with the information technology group and proponents to design and develop solutions that utilizes existing enterprise tools such as Office365, SQL databases and GIS mapping and development apps to improve operations and information technology management in Manila Water
Stores data and information in structured databases i.e. SQL, Oracle and other relational database management systems.
Provides maintenance and support to developed tools
Training
Trains user on the use of asset information systems, mapping systems and developed applications
Creates demos and guides to explain applications to users
Manages the development of training modules, learning sessions to GIS users
Map production
Uses of asset information in GIS and custom applications for map production.
Compiles data from different source materials, digital cartographic editing, performing map quality assurance and testing of cartographic and developed information solutions.
Ensures mapping supplies is adequate and printer maintenance is up to date to provide uninterrupted and quality service to customers
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
2 years experience in relevant industry
2 years GIS (ArcGIS) experience.
Software competencies in any of the following is required:
ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro)
Office365
PowerBI
PowerApps
SQL
ArcGIS Online Suite
Software competencies in any of the following is preferred :
