The Role
The role of the Assessment & Qualifications Delivery Manager will be to oversee, support and drive change across the Assessment & Qualifications teams in Manila. Liaising with key stakeholders and team managers, the post-holder will work closely to support all Manila based operations across the division, support the delivery of management and business strategies, objectives and projects, and act as a point of contact for all escalated issues in Manila.
Key Accountabilities
Work closely with key stakeholders across the business, developing constructive business relationships and building an understanding of the needs of the business.
Dealing with escalated local issues
Leading on the delivery of recruitment programmes to support the business objectives
Acting as a point of contact for Senior Managers/Directors across the division in the UK to support with projects in Manila
Leading on Team building activities with Manila based colleagues
Working to foster unity and positive working relationships across between UK and Manila based teams
Providing support in the deliver of training and development across colleagues in Manila
Leading on the delivery of Manila based projects to support the businesses strategic objectives
Supporting the management team with performance management of Manila based colleagues
Key Challenges
Working to support colleagues in Manila who are working from home and largely reporting to a manager in the UK
Ensure all activities are carried out in line with related business calendars and adhere to relevant SLAs
Continually seek to identify and implement improvements to the Associate and temporary worker experience within the context of recruitment
Test and validate the effectiveness of processes, systems and plans and put in place corrective and preventive action where necessary
Deliver key operational activities while taking a strategic view to improve business processes
Plan and execute activities whilst also being open to change and adaptable in the face of challenge
Manage complex and sensitive issues relating to conduct and performance
Prioritise own workload and that of the teams to meet the needs of the business in a changing environment and work under pressure to tight deadlines
Resolve operational problems as they arise with an expedient, quality focused and solutions orientated approach
Be proactive and flexible in approach to work and instill this ethos in the teams

Education, Qualifications & Experience
Degree, relevant vocational qualifications or extensive experience
Experience of delivering key operational activities in a highly pressurised environment
Experience managing a team and all aspects of performance management
Experience of taking a strategic view and implementing significant business improvement processes
Leading complex activities either as a manager or in cross-departmental teams
Experience related to implementation of procedures and contingencies
Project management
Technical Knowledge
IT Literacy (Essential)
Intermediate MS Word and MS Excel (Essential)
Working Pattern
Standard 37.5 hours a week, working to UK office hours (Approx 4pm - 2am Philippines time) Monday - Friday but will be required to be flexible during busy periods including the possibility of working at weekends occasionally. Overtime may be paid or offered as time off in lieu.
