ASSEMBLY ENGINEER

Job Overview
 
The Assembly Engineer is responsible for the accurate assembly, installation, testing, and inspection of mechanical and electrical components in accordance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and company quality standards. The role ensures that all assembled products are functional, safe, and completed within production schedules while maintaining high standards of workmanship and workplace safety.
 
Key Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical and electrical components based on engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Perform functional testing, inspection, and quality checks on assembled products.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve assembly defects or equipment issues.
Ensure components are properly aligned, secured, and assembled according to specifications.
Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively.
Monitor workstation materials and ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and inventory.
Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, inspections, and test results.
Follow company safety policies, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures.
Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to improve assembly processes and product quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering course.
PRC Licensed Engineer.
Experience in mechanical or electrical assembly, manufacturing, or production is an advantage.
Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

Physical Requirements
Able to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs (approximately 23 kg).
Physically fit to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Work Environment
Manufacturing and production facility.
Exposure to industrial machinery, noise, dust, and other manufacturing conditions.
May require overtime or weekend work to meet production schedules.
