Job Description
Area Store Opening Lead Butcher
Responsible in the product knowledge training of butchers in his area
Area Roving Butcher
Releiver of day-off/absent butchers
Stock & Inventory Monitoring
Checks and monitors stock level per store
Performs actual count. (shared task)
Validates/audits variance report in his area (shared task)
Check room temperature (Cold Storage and Display Showcase)
Supplies and packaging monitoring
Transformation of Items
Train butchers on how to properly cut/handle meat merchandise and transformation
Monitors shrinkage/cutting loss per primal part when cutting using bonesaw
Reports red flags to RSOM
Display Showcase Monitoring
Executes standard and good quality of meat display and stocks in the storage
Enusres promo execution in the stores in his area
Ensure GMP standards are observed and implemented per store
Equipment and Tools Care
Train butchers in the proper cleaning/care of equipmen and tools
Suggest equipment maintenance schedule to RSOM
Auditor of Cuts and Standards in the Stores
Qualifications
At least High School Graduate
Minimum 5 years experience in Butchering
With Leadership Skills
Knowledgeable with computer / Microsoft applications
