Job Summary
Reporting directly to the Sr. Regional Operations Manager, the Area Manager oversees all aspects of area operations to ensure the attainment of sales and marketing objectives, standardization and compliance with area operations policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for areas in support of business unit objectives.
Establish and ensure that all sales administration procedures are properly implemented to support the sales teams in their efforts to accomplish the sales targets and provide the SARI partners with superior levels of service and meet the needs of the customer.
Analyzes market trends and preference. Liaise with Marketing to ensure the adequate marketing support by way of merchandising and promotion is available in the region in order to provide brand visibility and promote sales.
Build and maintain effective communication channels between sales management and SARI partners to ensure smooth execution of business plans and strategies.
Ensure achievement of sales target. Must be able to perform day-to-day management of sales and operations. Monitor and review sales performance area under him to determine if targets are met and to make recommendations to address shortfall in sales.
Provides support and guidance to operations staff so productivity targets per area are met. Monitors operations in the area through regular meetings and discussions with the sales team, regularly reviewing their progress in achieving their plans/goals, and their compliance with commitments made to the Business Unit Heads.
Regular visits to all SARI partners and work with FSS. Hold cluster meetings, training and seminars for SARI partners to cascade updates and relevant announcement.
Prepare and submit complete, accurate and timely report and other documents to all concerned periodically and whenever required.
