Our client. member of the Group appointed as the general consultants for phase one of the North South Railway Project to provide detailed design and manage and supervise construction. The project involves the development and revitalisation of the long-haul and commuter railway network.
They are looking for an Architecture Expert to join their team in Manila to:
1) Support the Civil/Station Team Leader in all design and construction issues related to the architectural
design for smooth implementation of the project.
2) Review and (if necessary) optimize the detailed design of all buildings in railroad stations and depots. In
particular, perform architectural design of stations, including but not limited to station layout planning to
optimize passenger flow in normal and emergency modes of operation.
3) Assist the Civil Engineering/Station Team Leader in evaluating bids and assessing contractor capabilities as
part of the bid evaluation process for civil packages.
4) Attend periodic site inspections and defect liability periods during construction to resolve any civil design and
construction issues that arise.
5) Assist the civil/station team leader in preparing the construction completion report. This report will be a
condensed compilation of the data contained in the regular monthly progress reports and will include copies
of the as-built drawings.
6) Assist cost control and estimating experts in the preparation of BOQs with civil works contract packages;
develop measurement methods and technical specifications for relevant items in the BOQs; assist in the
preparation of BOQs with civil works contract packages.
Job Requirements
1) More than 10 years working Experience in Railway
2) Has an experience of least one railway project in foreign country
3) College graduate or more
