Daily Authoring Responsibilities:
Review existing authored specification content in the Chorus Authoring Platform (CAP) and update or restructure content to ensure that it reflects changes in standards, building codes, industry practice, and technologies.
Create new authored specification content in the Chorus Authoring Platform (CAP) to ensure that it reflects changes in standards, building codes, industry practice, and technologies.
Ensure feedback from customers is considered and assessed to support or influence the changes and development to specification content.
Research technical issues and developments, liaising as necessary with standards, regulations, and other publishers, professional associations, research organizations, trade organizations, manufacturers, consultants, and subscribers.
Ensure specification content aligns with the relevant classification; Uniclass, CAWS, USMS and/ or Archifyspec.
Work with Uniclass team in identifying new classification codes.
Support the research and development of new specification content sets as required in accordance with the company strategy.
Possesses a degree in a construction-related discipline (e.g., Architecture, M&E, Electrical, or Landscape)
with ideally 5 years of relevant experience in Architecture, M&E, Landscape, or any related field.
Knowledge and understanding of industry Standards and Building regulations.
Prior experience working with the UK market is beneficial.
This is a full-time role, and successful candidates will work in a hybrid setup.
Must be able to start working and undergoing training right away.
Must be willing to work a day shift (10 AM - 7 PM, Manila Time).
Professional communication (written & oral).
Comprehensive construction project experience.
PC knowledge - Internet search engines, database experience, MS Office basic.
Meticulous & strong attention to detail.
