Job Description:
- Performs specific architectural assignments based on pre-determined design concepts
- Assist lead architect in design decisions for construction
- Produce sketches, layouts, plans, and drawings from design information provided by project managers
- Exercise judgement in regard to work details where appropriate
- Perform field verification and observe architectural features of structures in the field
- Perform specific and limited proportions of assignments using prescribed methods
- Assist in preparation and participate in presentations
- Compile data and perform design computations
- Conduct code research and analysis
- Perform drafting assignments by applying standardized drawing techniques
- Develop, modify, and/or review drawings according to established standards
- Produce construction documents and compile complete drawing sets
- Review and verify shop drawings for design intent and accuracy with construction documents
- Collaborate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and/or clients
