Job Description
· Our practice has developed a unique combination of business and design expertise to produce architectural designs ranging from Residential Villas, Apartments, Hotels, Commercial and Educational buildings.
· We foster a collaborative working relationship with client, consultants, project managers and sub-contractors throughout the entire project.
· Our philosophy for quality assurance is to "do it right the first time." Constantly optimizing quality reduces rework, minimises errors and successfully meets clients briefs and project completion times.
· Our disciplines include - Sustainable Architecture, Feasibility Studies, Masterplanning, Design / Build, Project Management, Estimating / Cost Control
Staff
· With a delicate blend of design skill and an innovative approach to our internal management systems we are consistently producing outstanding results as feedback from our clients proves. We have the methodology necessary to complete small to large projects on time and on budget. Over time we have established a set of values and design criteria that ensure all aspects of construction are considered during the creative process. Purpose
· The purpose of this role is to efficiently and effectively support the Architecture practice to ensure client expectations are satisfied, project output is of the highest quality and deadlines are met. Be prepared to contribute knowledgeable and creative solutions to architectural problems in order to achieve excellence in all projects and associated works.
Qualifications
Requirements
· A Bachelor of Architecture Degree or Equivalent
· Min 5 years experience
· Perform general architectural drafting duties
· Must have English Language
· A 'design bend' for conceptualizing and presentation
· Ability to take Concept Design to resolved Developed Design
· Documentation abilities and the ability to take resolved Concept and Developed design through to Detailed Design Documentation
· Technical ability and proficiency in ARCHICAD (Min 3 years)
· Technical knowledge of building systems and construction
· Detail oriented with an understanding of the New Zealand Building Code and NZ Standards i.e. NZS 3604 and NZBC and Acceptable Solutions
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Computer literate in Microsoft Windows environment including Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop, Google Sketchup, Teams and Zoom
· Proactive and self-motivated
· Problem solving and Negotiation skills - a lateral thinker
· Consistently delivers quality work to deadline
· Perseveres until the project is completed to the highest standard
· Shows integrity and demonstrates professionalism in all dealings with Staff and Clients
