Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting an Applications Engineer on behalf of a multination medical device company specializing in optical and industrial systems and instruments. The role will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to internal and external stakeholders to deliver customized solutions, perform product demonstrations, and ensure customer satisfaction. The role will report to the Head of Applications Engineering and will be based in the PH market.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop customized solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations to showcase the features, capabilities, and benefits of the product portfolio.
Provide technical consultation and support to customers, helping them optimize their quality control processes and maximize the value of products.
Assist customers in configuring, integrating, and troubleshooting
Know and understand all aspects of Compliance, SOP, certifications accreditations as a Training provider (Trainer); provide training and guidance to customers on the effective use of products.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of customer interactions, technical issues, and solutions provided.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape within the industry sector.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Mechatronics or other Engineering related fields
5 years experience in applications engineering and support; preferably with Strong technical knowledge of measurement systems, optical systems, industrial/manufacturing systems, and quality control methodologies.
Must have inclination to IT systems/apps/tools; knowledge in programming languages will be advantage
Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills. Must have the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Effective problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to assess complex processes and provide practical solutions.
Can work independently but is also a great collaborator
Willingness to travel as required to customer sites, conferences, and other events. May need to travel in Region SEA where capacity is at escalation or priority on request (as needed only)
