Application Support Specialist
Encora is on the look-out for Application Support Specialist who can work on nightshift schedule.
The role will support our application platform, ensuring it's up and running all the time. Participate in maintenance or upgrade activities to keep up with operational requirement in running the service/application. Provide resolution to incidents related to service usage that impacts business users/ partners. Implement integration into production to supported services (API, B2Bi and WSB). And participate on technical reviews for any new project that will be implemented in production environment.
The application you will use are Google API (Apigee), Microsoft Azure, Axway B2B and Axway Policy Studio.
An ideal candidate must be:
At least 5 years of experience in service/application support.
Good communication and time-management skills.
Ability to work unsupervised, under pressure and meet SLA
Resourceful and commitment to provide quality service
Strong analytical skills and excellent problem solving
Fluent in English
Knowledge of connectivity protocols (API, AS2, FTP, SFTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, MQ-Middleware)
Knowledge of SQL on application support/user level
Proficient in Unix/Linux OS and shell scripting
Understanding of TCP/IP architecture
Understanding of public key cryptography concepts, secure connectivity protocols and methods (SSL/TLS).
Not mandatory, but an advantage for the role:
Google API training/certification
Microsoft Azure foundation trainings/certification
Knowledge and experience using of Axway products (B2Bi and Policy Studio)
Knowledge on network and cloud technologies
Some technical programming/scripting skills (Perl, Linux, Java)
Java Based application troubleshooting
