Overview
SolarWinds is looking to hire their next Senior Application administrator (Boomi)
The Application administrator - Senior is an individual contributor on the Business Applications team and is responsible for dev ops/ role and permission management/ notification of process failures on Boomi and SnowFlake.
Responsibilities
Snowflake/Matillion
Platform management- architecture
Monitor and manage cloud usage
Manage/monitor data streams/replication using best practices for cost optimization
Cloning/Virtualizing data warehouse best practices
Optimize the storage/compute usage to optimize costs and monitor ongoing processes
Ability to understand the data/infrastructure to
Security expert in snowflake
Understanding GDPR/PII
Understand Role based security vs user-based security
Liaison with InfoSec group to ensure applications have proper oversight. Work to define the audits/rules.
Dell Boomi Application Administration:
Manage roles for an account.
Account configuration and administration (At least 5 + years)
Manage all account groups and access restrictions.
Atom configuration and administration, provides read and write access to Atom properties and settings
Administer Boomi Azure data.
Design, build, and modify processes and components.
Cloud configuration and administration.
Manage account, HTML Status, and real-time dashboards.
Create and publish new components using the Boomi Integration SDKs.
Management of all environments, add role(s) to environments so that only users with the role(s) have access to the environments
Execute or retry available processes.
Integration pack release and management of integration pack versions.
View currently deployed connections and Atom Cloud usage.
Deploy a process or component to environments.
Process publishing and management of published process versions.
Manage configured process schedules.
View and monitor process execution activity and logs
Qualifications
BS or BA in Computer Science or Equivalent (5 years applicable experience)
Experience with Dell Boomi (5+ yrs) MUST HAVE
Snowflake (Nice to have)
Intermediate to Advanced Azure skills
Intermediate to Advanced Web Services (SOAP and REST)
Intermediate to Advanced MS SQL
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in spoken and written English (As this role will have interaction w/ other bussiness units offshore)
