An API Developer will be responsible for:
development, maintenance, testing and support of various API's across different platforms of DAVI.
keeping the API Gateway running that would include monitoring its operations, managing any settings, deploying configurations and performing any troubleshooting
analyzing, designing, developing, coding and implementing API programs in more than one (1) programming languages, for Web and Mobile applications
supporting applications with an understanding of system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting
Assessing the health and performance of API programs in relation to the applications and databases
Defining specifications and develop programs, modifying existing programs, preparing test date and preparing functional specification
Analyzing program and application performance using various programming languages, tools and techniques
Identifying potential process improvement areas and recommending options and approaches
Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems and other related courses
At least 4 years of relevant experience in Java/J2EE developer
Strong technical expertise in the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of mobile software and web-based applications
Experience with design and development of REST API applications using integration platforms such as Azure APIM, MuleSoft, Kong, WSO2 to be able to convert web services from SOAP to REST or vice-versa
Excellent coding skills different languages such as .Net, Swift, Flutter, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Node.js
Strong knowledge in UI Development (JSP, HTML, CSS, Ajax and XML)
Proficient with the Azure cloud computing services and hands-on with Application Servers
Expert knowledge of data management and information security
Good knowledge of relational databases (ie. MS SQL, SAP HANA), data warehousing platforms (ie. Azure Synapse, ADLS), and data analytics platforms.
Experience with scrum and agile project management methodologies.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
