Key Duties & Responsibilities:
 To conduct formulation activities to support the daily production of fish feed.
 Provide technical support to fish and shrimp farmers to enable the company to achieve its business
objectives
 Manages formulation related information systems including formulation software and data sets.
 Prepares and reviews formulation related reports.
 Works closely with the production team to ensure formulations are consistent with efficient production.
 Works with Production schedulers and Raw material coordinators to assist with ingredient requirements.
 Assists with investigations related to formulation related questions.
 Prepares and maintains formulation related databases and records.
 Develop and implement all necessary quality control procedures including raw materials standard and
formulation integrity to ensure that the feed meets required standards.
 Work closely with the purchasing team to support raw materials and other purchases.
Skills/Qualifications:
 Bachelors or Master of Science (Animal Nutrition),Fisheries or related degree. Preferred, but not essential.
 Experience using Feed Formulation software
 Experience with nutritional formulation, modeling and forecasting.
 Advanced computer and analytical skills.
 Problem solving.
 Strong and collaborative communication.
 Experience in Aqua Feeds Manufacturing would be an asset.

 Determine the nutritional requirements and optimal feed cost formulations for the various Aqua-Feed
species groups with a focus on shrimp nutrition;
 Provide product innovation/development support, R&D and quality control/assurance support across various
departments;
 Provide guidance to the Procurement and Logistics Departments to evaluate requirements of new/existing
raw materials and optimum use of restricted raw materials;
 Assist in the development of R&D strategies and the communication of this output to a diverse internal and
external audience;
 Assist sales and marketing activities through recommendations for diet pricing and variances;
 Maintain an up-to-date nutritional and technical knowledge of the aquaculture program;
 Provide technical support to customers in collaboration with Technical and Sales teams;
